I bought Mueller's engine project (that he got scared of and bailed) that uses a 78mm crank and 94mm T1 Cima B pistons. This what I found upon mock-up!

It sticks out .332........no that's not a typo

Even with .300 of shim under it still sticks out .032...time to

Are you gonna need longer head studs, too?
That's truly insane............
Sounds like you need some custom pistons that move the wrist pin up for that huge crank.
RUN IT!
Hello compression!
BTW I did know this and it's not a huge deal....
Next I'm going out to mock it up with an 80mm crank with shorter chevy rods to see what that does.
A little better with the 80mm chevy rod crank... I now have .030 deck....of course thats with .300 of shim under the jug.

have fun with the rocker arm geometry.
Hi Mark
What your goal on this motor? Looks realy interesting !
Side question...when I hit your link to your webpage, it gives, I am guessing, your list of distributors? If I need to get some parts in Canada, how would I go about it?
Back to your motor, what type of head work are you going to do/use?
Later
Mike made me an offer I couldn't (but maybe should have, lol) refuse.
Can we say boost.
The site is all screwed up...most likely hacked.
We're trying to fix it.
Call me at 905-797-2677 or mhenry69@sympatico.ca
With .030 deck and boost I hope you got some big combustion chambers. Yikes, the spark plugs gonna act like a glow plug.
