"Our Piston Manf. currently uses gravity feed permanent molds to produce aluminum pistons."

I watched a car show just last weekend that talked about the casting and forging of parts. The "least good" method was gravity feed casting because it can leave tiny air bubbles in the part, vacuum casting was better and forging was best. Aren't the OEM pistons forged?

What makes these "European Spec"? Just loose use of that favorite marketing phrase? I thought what we refer to as Euro spec P/Cs were for 2.0Ls and were 8:1 compression ratio. These claim to be 9.2:1.

"euro" spec is sorta generic now with the 2.0 p/c's

basicly, higher compression (by means of a flat top piston)

the compression can eaisly be raised or lowered via the gaskets/shims...
but who knows if thier figures are using what combo of gaskets/shims???
