914World.com _ 914World Garage _ SCCA car classification help

Hey you old SCCA hands. I'm looking at doing a SCCA hillclimb in my 914. I didn't build the car with SCCA in mind (more POC). I'm browsing the SCCA GCRs and it looks like my 3.2 conversion places the car in GT-2 at minimum. Am I on the right track here?

Regards,
Kevin

Yes. Anything over 2.0 6cyl is lumped into GT2. GT2 used to be up to 2.9liters. Then they slowly allowed the 3.0 block and so on. I'm actually surprised that the 3.2 is allowed in GT2.

Brad, the target HP for GT-2 these days is around 375.
Any engine more capable than that gets a Single Inlet Restrictor (SIR) to keep it below the limit.
