i think it's a tool used on the springs on the engine lid.

or maybe the coil springs on the hood and trunk, but i think it's for those torsion springs, long "bars" that twist to pop the engine lid open...

Yup! type47's almost right...... Spring torque lever for rear deck lid torsion bar springs!
