How many rear shims to set the rear camber in that picture?

Posted by: SirAndy Jun 19 2006, 06:48 PM

she needed a lot of "creative pulling" ... we also had to amputate one of the front fiberglass flares for better access ...

right now, it looks like she going to be a all original *narrowbody* car again ...

using *only* factory /6 parts, even factory /6 sheetmetal for the repairs ...

this is going to be interesting. she should be better than new when i'm done with her ...

there's a certain original /6 that had some rather nasty things done to it's body and was deemed to be a parts car at best ...

I like the welded on pull tab in the front wheel well.

So are you happy with the way the rear shock tower came out or are you still going to replace it? He did a great job but it's still a little wrinkley (i.e. not better than new).

it's going to be replaced ... but we had to push it back out because we needed the measurement point. same thing in the front, even thought i'm planning on replacing some sheetmetal there around the front suspension mount, we had to recreate the original shape and weld up the ripped mount in order to pull the tub correctly ...

as i said, a lot of work ...
