Replacing both cables any tricks as far as reinstalling?or removing? Thanks for any help?/
DON'T let the 2 cables get intertwined! Lotsa BTDTs here on the list. The Cap'n
Can I use the old to pull the new threw ?Or do I just yank out the old and try and fish the new one in ?
If not broken, use old cables to pull in the new ones. And like the Cap'n said.
Paul,
Might be helpful for those of us who are getting ready to do the same and have never done it before if you list the main steps and do/dont's.
I've never done it myself, and would prolly learn something from your experience
Jim
if the cable binds while threading it to the front bulkead, rotate the cable end as if were a drill bit; push forward while rotating. do these actions at the same time will make the cable "drill forward". this technique sure did help me when my accelerator cable seemed to refuse to move forward.
