I am looking into getting a Blaupunkt stereo, and was wondering if I need a special adapter to attach the old style antenna to the new style. Aparently the new stereos, well Eropean ones anyway, are designed for these amplified antennas like in modern VW's. Is this an issue, or something that a simple adapter can hook up. Alternatively, can an amplified antenna be installed on the 914 body in place of the old one?
