I just replaced my rear axle bearings and after pressing the hubs back into the bearings, I noticed if you hold the hub and try to move it side to side you can feel some movement in the bearing. Is this normal when the stub axle is not in place?

Yes. Once the axle is in and torqued, the freeplay will be gone. The Cap'n
