There are two plastic philips head screws, one each side of the tunnel, on the raised corner piece of the floorpan near the firewall. The look like they're the same size as the seatbelt bolts. What are they for? Seat belts for the middle seat???

Yes...

only on the early cars.
my 72 had them, but I'm not sure that all 72's did

Hehe, I was just wondering if those holes were supposed to be open on my 70.. apparently not. smile.gif

I'll have to see if I have a couple of bolts that size to plug em with.

on the race car.....

its lighter to leave any plug out.
in fact I used a hole saw to remove the threaded nut portion, just as I did for all welded in threaded nuts on the entire chassis
