Was walking around the local pull-a-part and had an "oh yeah, I should..." thought when I saw a hatch back open... I need to get some shocks for my rear trunk lid!
So tested a few hatchbacks for the shock strength... most were shot. Then found a strong set.
So I go back to the office and ask how much. $3.50 each. Score!! Had to cut and weld some mounts to fit, but it was an easy job. Nice to throw away the broomstick trunk holder upper!

Cool! Aren't they great? I put some on my car and like one month later I got some CF lids and it's to stong for the light CF stuff. Bummer.LOL
Good job!
I have a set of the Camp shocks and they rock...
Shoulda been original equipment if you ask Ron.....
Should be installed with the rod section pointing down.
Just finished a design using one for work. This keeps the seal lubricated.
