Posted by: GTeener Sep 1 2006, 01:24 PM
The "2007 Cars of the 914Club Calendar" is now available for sale through CafePress.com.
Go here:
http://www.cafepress.com/gteener
There are 2 flavors to choose from: a year-at-a-glance and a month-by-month calendar.
Enjoy!
Disclaimer: CafePress handles all order processing. I just did the layout and made it available to whomever wants to buy 'em.

Gwen,
I would be interested. I suggest that you use pictures from the hot chicks thread for every month.

I think I could talk the wife to pose this year.
Posted by: StratPlayer Sep 1 2006, 02:13 PM
I was thinking about this this morning wondering if we were going to have another calander for 07, count me in.
Posted by: GTeener Sep 1 2006, 02:58 PM
I didn't produce the 914 Ladies calendar. Mine was cars only, except April for the fools .
I'll do the car calendar again but it will depend on getting enough picture submissions the right size to fill it.
All submitted pictures need to fit this template:
9"W (1800 pixels) x 11.5"H (2300 pixels)
@ 200 DPI or PPI (dots per inch or pixels per inch)
Send to gagolub@yahoo.com
Admins,
Can we get this topic added to the locked bunch above?

And it would be a very nice calendar picture too!
You need to look at the image size in a graphics program. 9"W (1800 pixels) x 11.5"H (2300 pixels)
@ 200 DPI or PPI (dots per inch or pixels per inch)
You can send bigger for use, but not smaller. Making pictures bigger reduced the quality.

Maybe mix in some orange cars and you can be the October poster cars
or Mix black, orange, yellow and red cars for a nice Fall month (Sept. or Nov.)

I'll be happy to take a photo of your NICE car anytime Judy. Heck, I'll even take one with Elliot's. I really don't know about Air-Rons Mess-Kin Rat-Rod? As far as I am concerned it is in the same class as Scott's Chalon. I've seen pictures, but never witnessed the car actually run.
BTW - why didn't we take a photo at the WCC? Oh yeah, I remember ....... Aadmin Aaron didn't go to the WCC. What about the R66C or last years RRC? (same answer) I feel very comfortable with the proven cars owned by us over 40 members. I will have to wait and see how Aaron's teener preforms on the road trip to Moab. (Wait, IIRC he his towing, not driving it)
One more thing - (I'm done picking on the college kid for the time being)
More Photos Of Mrs. I Please!
Gwen - If you want an Elvira picture, look http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?showtopic=56575 on my WCC photo thread. LMK your favorite and I will send a full size .jpg.

Project Car pictures are welcome. The 2006 calendar led with a project on jack-stands picture
it's all representative of the club

Don't worry about pre-approval guys. If you have pictures you like of your car or your car with other's cars send 'em!
I'll filter through the submissions at production time, which I figure will be around November once all the "Classic" get-togethers end...

Put my name down for one.
I'm hoping that I will be able to offer a submission for the 2008 calendar. I would prefer not to be included in the before pictures calendar for 2007 (AKA jack stand optional).

I'll see about making a last minute edit to the year-at-a-glance collage...but...you didn't follow the original photo submission instructions Joe. I never got a picture emailed to me in the proper resolution and size.
BTW-If you've noticed, I haven't ever put my own car in the calendar either...
Posted by: GTeener Nov 20 2006, 05:26 PM
This just in....
The Year-at-a-Glance artwork has been revised slightly to include a few more club cars.
This is the last change.
Hope you all like this year's calendars.
If you haven't made it in yet, there's always next year...

Gwen, can you edit the very first post to include all the details? I read the first couple posts and didn't learn anything. Post #1 should say, "these are available now, here's how to order."

I would buy one.

Great gift ideas just in time. I ordered 3 calendars and some other goodies to give as Christmas gifts to myself and others. They look great and will save me some shopping time.
Thanks for putting it together.

Anyone receive their calendars yet? How did they come out?
Posted by: rwjames Dec 6 2006, 01:12 PM
I ordered 3 calendars and some other assorted goodies and received two packages last week. Shirts, mugs and such looked great, but I was very unhappy with the calendars.
I expected them to have 914's every month, but there wasn't a single one. I like cats and dogs as much as the next guy, but I really wanted to stare at a different 914 each month. Upon further inspection, it appears the distribution center sent my 914 calendars to someone else and I received their dog calendar. Somewhere in Ohio, someone is trying to figure out what kind of cars are on the calendar and what happend to their puppy calendar.
I did receive the correct calendars Monday and they look great. Nice spiral binding with heavy duty pages should help it hold up for a year. I'll keep one for myself and make two 914 friends very happy for Christmas.
Anybody need a dog calendar?

Just got home and UPS had delivered a package. Looks like CafePress sent me 3 more replacement calendars by mistake. At least they were 914's instead of dogs.
I Ordered 3 and now have 6, plus a dog calendar. I'll have to call them and see if they want to pick up these 3 extras now.
Thanks again for putting together the calendars. Between the calendars, shirts, and mugs, I have a head start on my Christmas shopping.

I got mine today, Gwen, and I am very happy! You even got a picture of my car in there.
One question, and it is not a criticism, I was surprised that there were no acknowledgements of the photographers in there? Als, no mention of the
car owners either??
Still, It is great, and I appreciate all the hard work!
Jeff

Didn't have 'em last year either
It's a worthwhile enhancement suggestion for next year

They won't want the extras back. Dude! You totally scored!

You were right. I called CafePress today and told them I received 3 extra calendars by mistake. They told me to keep them since the cost of shipping wouldn't be worth returning them.
Looks like I'll make 3 more friends happy for Christmas.

That's what I figured. They've sent me some replacements and never wanted the mistakes back.
Score!!!
