914World.com _ 914World Garage _ Need help getting to Moab
Posted by: TROJANMAN Sep 18 2006, 11:28 AM
I am thinking of travelling from Southern California to Moab, so I thought I would start a thread stating my intentions. I may start another thread in case a new thought crosses my mind later. Could we please have an admin nail this so that i don't confuse myself.

I take it rubber is suffocating you and killing off your grey cells - not that you had that many to begin with.
Posted by: TROJANMAN Sep 18 2006, 11:45 AM
Oh, and by the way........did anyone see that blue 916 that was for sale on Ebay recently?
If not, I may have to start a new thread about it.

Ohhhhhhhhhh my gawwwwwwwwd.
I was like, driving and like this big bug, like almost hit my windshield. So I like turned around and said "noooo waaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyy I'm going to like get my car dirty with bug juice and red dusty stuff". I mean like, that stuff is for the Discovery Channel or something.
Plus... those rest areas along the way are like soooooooooo stinky. I remember one time when Carter and Ashley (aka. Mom and Dad) took us all to Vegas in the C-A-R (like the longest trip E-VERRR) and they actually wanted me to pee there!! Like Oh-my-gawwwwwwwwwwwwwd. I nearly called child services! Never again!! I almost barfed.
You guys do your little outdoor adventure stuff without me.

I am not exactly sure, but I noticed there are about a dozen threads from the So Cal contingent talking about getting there.
Apparently they start a new thread for every 25 miles travelled.

SoCal Member #1 - You wanna go to Moab?
SoCal Member #2 - Why?
SoCal Member #1 - All the other guys are.
SoCal Member #2 - Ok. I'm in. Let's go
SoCal Member #1 - How should we get there?
SoCal Member #2 - Don't know. Let's start a thread.
SoCal Member #1 - Hey. What's up?
SoCal Member #2 - Nada. You?
SoCal Member #1 - Nada
SoCal Member #1 - You wanna go to Moab?

Arizona member #2 - Damn, who we gonna have sex with?
Arizona member #1 - I heard they have mountain goats
Arizona member #3 - And prickly cactus too!
Arizona member #2 - Cool, how do we get there?
Arizona member #3 - I dunno .... go ask the Indians to start a thread
Chief Buttplug - I you white asses don't know how to use Mapquest - go suck a prickly pear.

Ah yes. i knew that, because i read it in your "So Cal to Mesquite" thread. Or was it in the "So Cal to Las Vegas" thread. Crap, I don't remember, it may have been the "So Cal to Victorville" thread, which really confused me, because i was trying to figure out how you guys got from one place in So Cal to somewhere else in So Cal. So then I had to do some research and go back to the original "So Cal to So Cal" thread

I'm so confused.
I don't know which one of the 14 RRC threads I should post this on?
Anyways . . . . . . .
The shirts are in the mail for those who ordered and paid for shipping.
(-1 for the Salmon Math Wizzard and +1 for Carreraguy)
The others are in Elvira's trunk and will be available for pick-up in Mesquite.

Mike Ferguson called me today. Wanted kno wif I could overnight some blue tape to him. Seems he bought all he could find to tape up his new orange car that he is driving to Moab.
If you get lost coming from Colorado just follow that rail of blue tape along the highway. Ferg will be in front of you, possibly at the side of the road using his last roll of blue tape to help protect his new orange car

Make sure you keep in touch with him Craig. You know his car will be filthy by the time he gets to Moab.
And you also know that means he'll soon be buying a new 914 from you. :cleanfreaksmilie:

AA, spoke to /L, she is picking up Lisa 12:30ish (not caravanning with youse guys) and expects to be at restaurant by 2 or so. We'll have lunch and wait for you, unless we change our minds, leave you in the dust, and start gambling sooner
