Title says it.

BTW, this is my first pic post. Hope it works. If not, can someone advise me on how to post a pic from a file?

Thanks,

Andy

Old school badass adjustable Koni.

Bilstein didnt sell any external adjustable shocks.

This shock pictured is what came on the M471 914's.

A lot of racers still use this old school shock.

All,

I just bought this car. It's a '75 2.0 that was stored in a garage by the PO for the last 11 years. As such, initial inspection revealed no rust. Even the battery tray has the original paint on it! Since I just got it home late last night, I haven't thoroghly inspected it yet. The PO used it as a daily, and put a lot of miles on it. I named it "Goober" for the color, but it's starting to grow on me. I'll post more pic's as I get deeper into it. If some greenie politician in California doesn't change the rules, then it'll be smog exempt next year....I can hardly wait!

Wheels are Momo.

There's a funny story, well it wasn't so funny last night; I locked the keys in the car and had to push it up the driveway and chock the wheels. Pic is after AAA showed.

Pic: Only tear in the whole cockpit.

open your drivers door, and look at the plate that says "karman karoserie" somethin along the lines of that.... it will say something like, l64k etc. (that'll give us a the color code)

Posted by: ChrisReale Oct 29 2003, 08:37 PM

You should get those shocks rebuilt. Thems not too common

Let me guess, you turned the tach so you could see the red line thru the big wheel?

Who did you buy this from, this car looks awfully familliar

Posted by: Brad Roberts Oct 30 2003, 03:21 AM

Nice score AndyS. It appears to be yet another decent NorCal 914 example. I think the dash is real. The ash tray lines up with the dash.. the covers cause the ash tray to appear "deep" in the hole.
