914World.com _ 914World Garage _ 69 S Struts and Shocks

Posted by: MJHanna Oct 30 2003, 10:56 AM

Ok, I’ve got some 69 S front struts that have the 3.5-inch brake rotor spacing. I also bought Koni yellow struts and the adapters from Paragon to use in Koni's in the struts. I’m not going to use either one so I’m going to sell. OK, here is the question, the shocks are new never used but are in the struts with oil or antifreeze. Should I sell as a “set” or separate? blink.gif

I would seperate them. You'll end up getting more money for the "pieces".

Dont do it Mark. JP is old and crusty.. he wants you to weight them because he cant see the scales small numbers.

Hay.....Iffin' I flip up my trifocals and get up real close I can see all kinds of stuff. laugh.gif

Being old & crusty has it's drawbacks, but the alternative is worser.

I'll be lucky if I make it to old and crusty.

I would but don’t have any “S” calipers I was going to use Carrera Calipers on this project (which I could weight but you really don’t care about them.) wink.gif
