914World.com _ 914World Garage _ Do I lose my rain tray if I go to dual carbs?

Posted by: thomasotten Oct 12 2006, 07:13 AM

I have my dual carbs, but I haven't bought manifolds yet. Is there just one kind of mainifold, or anything I should know about that? I would prefer to keep the rain tray, if possible.

I have the standard size manifold with IDF's and 4" K&N's and I still have

my rain tray, they fit no problem.

You shouldn't have a problem keeping the rain tray.

the cb tall, or similar version will allow the rain tray. the only prob could be if you run the super tall airfilters.

Yup should fit no problem with 4" filter. I have been running this for years.

Never mind that I just installed a GT style lid.

i have rainhats for the carbs....

i need the taller filters to fit the bigger spunone stacks......
