got a few pics!! only 6 track 914s and i felt kinda lonely, being the only street 914 there, (unless i missed somebody).
byron ..... if you were there, it's hard to believe i didn't see you, i was all over that place. sorry, i don't have a cell phone.
anyway ...... i walk down to the false grid for one of the first groups to go out for practice and i look down this loooong line of 911s and 944s and i see a 914 ..
[attachmentid=100429]
and i'm thinking .... kool, another 914, (because i had only seen one other thus far), and as they roll out, i see it's not just *any* ole 914 ..... it was the sunoco GT!!
[attachmentid=100431]
WOW!!! and a
spoke with the owner tom burdge, who is a member!!!! (i didn't know that!!)
more pics of it later.
then ....... i meet the owners of an x IMSA GTU GT #1867,
[attachmentid=100434]
[attachmentid=100435]
if i understood the owners correctly, it is an m471 converted by either dealer or customer to a GT. hopefully, they will stop by give the history.
and then there was the twin turbo, tube frame that i 1st saw at roabling road. FASSSSSST!!!!!
[attachmentid=100436]
and a little inspiration for paul ... that was also FASSSSSST!!!!
[attachmentid=100443]
so ... more tomorrow .... got to go .... UFC 64 has started!! where is that "ground and pound " smiley!!

As usual, great photos! Thanks for sharing, Doug.
I hope to make it to Daytona for the HSR in November. I missed the Petit LeMans at Road Atlanta due to a back problem, so I'm ready for a weekend at the track before the year ends. Woo-hoo!
