and when the hell is it going to stop snowing!?!?!?!?!?! have the teener in storage until all the salt goes away.
on another topic, anyone in the springfield area know how to adjust door windows? my drivers side window needs to be raised about a quater of an inch to seal properly. a little cold and friggin' moist the way it is now!
cheers all and pray for spring!
you must be a recent snow transplant too. I'll be leaving san francisco in a month to live in philadelphia. hopefully I won't see snow until the end of the year. 25 years in MI, cannot believe I am headed back to the cold!
Scott, check the Haynes manual for window adjusting info. The 73+ windows are relatively straightforward, as long as you can get the door panel off of the door. Not sure about the earlier ones.

everyone in a sunny clime be damned!!!!!!! :finger2: :finger2: :finger2:
talking about snow beginning before dawn 1-2" per hour stopping mid-day in south-west mass according to the weather morons. i hate those bastards. always smiling and such. they are the reason there is so much violence in society.....
or maybe i have issues...........................
NAH!!!!!!!
Was down to 30 f this morning......had to turn the heat on in the car....
Zois..

Scott,
I'm about 30 miles south of you. I think I understand 914 window adjustment. Sometimes the problem is actually the seal and not the window position. Also door alignment has a major effect. Come visit me with the car when it's safe outside.
Chris
ps I just heard a local weatherman predicting a major snowstorm here for next week.
-30C here last night....-45C with the windchill....
Mark, I hear BC is hording all the nice weather, I'll send some your way soon.
If I didn't have wood to cut, I'd be on another road trip to somewhere warm.
The bay area weather has been quite seasonable, but for me a little cool. I don't like to go out until the chill has left, usually around 10am.. ('course, what I have to do is different than what I like to do...) To make sure I appreciate it fully tho, I'm heading up to Saskatchewan for the weekend. Apparently it's a little cooler up that way, and I have to find something called a "touque".???
Anywhoo, if I see a teener, I'll shoot a pic and post it. 'Smor likely that someone will see my touque and shoot it...
kim.
Yeah Dave.. those damn micro climates. Our highly calibrated thermometer showed 74 today. When the fog rolls in from the bay.. its gets chilly.
B
Dress very warm krk... a high of -26C Friday and a low of -32C in Saskatoon.... and not much better for the rest of the weekend.
2 to 3 inches of fresh white stuff this morning
Can't spring come any sooner
Two days ago we had a vicious ice storm. I chiseled almost a solid inch off my windows to be able to see. Driving home from work, in 4WD in my Wrangler, I passed a car in the ditch/median every 100 yards in the 10 mile drive.
Earlier in the day there was a 20+ car pileup on the same route I take home.
When I saw the minivan flipped on it's top with one side crushed... I decided it was time to put the seatbelt on.

Mark, actualy I live in Winnipeg. The farm is 2 hrs NW of here. I'm planning on moving there when I retire in 6 years. I'm cutting wood up there for a stackwall cabin that I want to build on the beach. The wood has to dry for 2-3 yrs and it's best to cut now & strip the bark off when the weather warms up (if ever).
People...that's why I go up there. The only one's I see are the one's I invite along.
Besides the best summers in the world, we have another advantage over the California guys....we can buy still buy land for a reasonal price.
got to love SF though even if it's expensive, blue skies and lots of sun today. just went to grab lunch in the city and was in back of a marathon blue 1.7 with the top off and a HPH license frame. wonder if he's on the board??
