914World.com _ 914World Garage _ Win a Trip to the Atomic Ramble!
Posted by: Series9 Nov 5 2006, 05:29 PM
If you would like to attend the Atomic Ramble in Albuquerque, NM over Memorial Day weekend 2007, but probably won't due to finances and/or travel distance, then I want you to sign up.
Here are the rules:
1. Nobody in the Four Corners, SoCal, Nevada, Texas or Oklahoma is eligible. You guys can drive it easy enough.
2. You have to be capable of getting the time off to attend-FOR SURE.
3. You have to fly on Southwest airlines.
We'll see if we need more rules later, but that'll do for now.
The ticket will probably be given via random drawing. The winner will also get free lodging in our guest room at my house.
Well? Who would come if they won free airfare?
Hopefuls and their airport:

That should get Toast about :
50 mi / q * 4 qt / gal * 5 gal = 1000 miles, more than enough to get her there!
Course I should have asked at what point the engine explodes!

I'll hook up with you as you come across the midwest on I-80. Omaha is probably about halfway, maybe a little over, and then Albuquerque would be a long day's drive. We might be able to hook up with some one out of the Denver area as we go by.

Hey, that's not fair!! I have to drive farther than she does! I've already done
a 2800 mile trip to Utah, and a 1200 mile trip to Arkansas. I ate up two tires,
one clutch cable, and one E-brake mount. Don't I get any sympathy??
I'm only kidding! If the 914's running, I'll be there! Even if it isn't running, I'll
take my truck! Give the prize to the truly deserving! (Amazing what I will do for
free beer!
, and great people
