My car does not have that notched block and locking plate that fit into the forked end of the clutch bearing fork. It is a VW type swivel. My car is a early 72. Did some 914's come this way or did someone swap a VW type in there?
Pics? There is the regular 914 part, which is plastic. It has two knobs sticking out of the sides that fit into the notches in the throwout arm. There is a 911 part that is metal, and shorter, and the knobs are less round and more triangular IIRC.
Are you talking about something different entirely? A pic would help tell us...
