How It Works!

89X and Budweiser want to award 1 local band the prize of a lifetime…

a record deal with Nettwerk Records,

studio time at Ghetto Recorders,

the CD co-produced by Jim Diamond,

a major label showcase in LA, production, packaging, and distribution of a 5 song EP,

and digital distribution on iTunes, eMusic, Rhapsody!

Each week on 89Xradio.com we will feature 3 different bands and one song from each band, selected by 89X. Listeners can vote on their favorite. The winner each week will move on to the semi finals.

Once we have the semi-finalists, each will perform at a live playoff, featuring 3 bands at each event. Those three winners will go on to the finals.

Then on a TBD date and time, we will hold the finals for the “I’m with the band contest!” Nettwerk Records, 89X, and music writers from Detroit will choose a winner from the three finalists! This band will win!
