After rear ending someone three months ago, http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?showtopic=58967, and waiting two months longer than first estimated, I finally have my car back.

It looks pretty good. I swithed out the painted bumpers for chrome ones which I am very happy with. There are a few things, as I expected there would be, that are not perfect but I'll accept that for now.

Just happy its back.

It looks Great. IMHO I thought that it looked better with the painted bumpers

with that color but it looks killer now as well.

Umm, you might want to pull of the windshield wipers before you turn them on. otherwise you will scratch it up pretty good. I think they are backwards. They should be pointing towards the drivers side.

Thanks for the heads up. They are actually ok. There is a way to switch to park function to the other side...forget how I did it but we're good.

You can't beat adriatic blue as THE perfect color for a 914.

Not sure who did a majority of the work. Got the run around in the form of delays constantly; promissed due date then no call, I'd call and we'd add two more weeks. Eventually I delt with Joe.

I asked that he try and match the original adriatic blue as best possible.

Unfortunately very typical for most body shops....they hustle on quick/easy jobs and then drag out the tougher ones....
The body looks very straight now...
Probably was Kenny doing the body work and prep for paint...he is the one that did my car as a side job and took ~ 6 months to get it done...
those bumpers look superb...

They do nice work though....

Glad to hear about the stops for the wipers being the other way. When you figure out how you did it, let me know. I like that way better.

Yeah I'm stoked. Really glad to have a driver back. Those are actually not the bumpers. The front one was to far gone so we sourced straighter cores and had them rechromed. I have your in my garage and will get them back to you if needed or I'll pass them along to a person in need.

I'll PM you or anyone the details if you like.

It is simple - you turn the wiper motor 180 degrees out and reinstall - problem is, it is a bitch to get to. You have to remove the fresh air box -
