914World.com _ 914World Garage _ Need Fuel Pump & Regulator Advice

Posted by: Headrage Nov 22 2006, 01:18 PM

Currently I have a facet pump with some wierd Sparco? press and click pressure regulator that seems to fluctuate between 2 and 6 psi.

Can anyone recommend a good pump and regulator set-up that's reliable and will give me a constant 3-4 psi?

A peirburg pump and PMO's own regulator is what is usually recomended.

The CB pump appears to be the Pierburg one. Not only does it work well, but it is small and can easily be placed by the steering rack to relocate the pump up front.
You can also order them through MidAmerica (the old Tweeks VW site).
