914World.com _ 914World Garage _ Air Hoses... plastic recoiling vs black heavy duty

Posted by: snflupigus Nov 27 2006, 08:12 PM

So I've been frustrated that my air tools lately... and was SURE that the last time I used them.... last year when it was actually cool enough out in my garage to be out there with them! --- they worked better!

So in a stroke of genius i put away the yellow plastic recoiling hose and got out the old thick heavy duty shop hose... put my right angle grinder on it and

HOLY SHIT!!! IT WORKS!! slap.gif

why didnt anybody tell me not to use those plastic hoses... is it just mine that has an obstruction or is it that the inner diameter of the thicker hose is THAT MUCH more to deliver enough cfm to the tool... pressure aside.

what good are those plastic recoiling hoses?
