You take good pics when your not using YOUR camera.
BTW.. the yellow 74 1.8 on the trailer needs a home soon as well as the black 73 2.0.
B
I beleive you NOW.
Thanks Andy for your help this evening.
B
Andy, you keeping your top painted black and your wheels black? or are you still working on that?
Nice pics! I know how the "blurry" thing is, I always use a tripod with my camera.. but still Nice pics!!!!!
Andrew
I expected more "there was a meet tonight?" posts, but then again, I guess not everyone is spending tonight hitting reload.
The avatar ROCKS Mark...LOL
See you in the AM.
B
There was a meet tonight?
-Chris
Dug Wright should still have the sanded top that came on my first 914 (*sigh*). Might save you some work and keep another stock top in the world.
I had to change my avatar. Redshift was getting mad.
They call him BooTsY baBe! God Mark!~ That rocks!
"Fall mountain, fall... just don't fall on me.."
BRAD HOW MUCH THE BLACK 73 2.0?
Oddly, for the first time in like a month, I don't crave a hamburger. You should sell that picture to Jack in the Box.
M
andy, is the windshield trim painted black or is that a rubber gasket?
kevin
I'll answer for Andy - There's no trim installed as of right now. The black is electrical tape on the inside of the window for looks (otherwise you see the window frame). There was a thread about it, but I'm too lazy to research it for you.
Now I hear porno music, Mark, I am also reminded for some reason of Motel Hell.
M
So Andy, why are you luging around all that sand in the front trunk? Afraid it might snow so you need the balast up front?

Andy
Hey , wake up. What are the details on the yellow car and the black car that are FS??
CCLINCAMP914
Ask about the Bilsteins too.
M
Redshift, Sorry I forgot to ask about the Bilstiens.
CCLINSHOCKWAVE
What about the black car?
Be honest..
M
The black car is super clean! That's honest. No more sound tar on the floorpans as of tonight. scrape, scrape, scrape
i was aware of the other thread. i'm waiting for the rest of the deatailed instructions and pictures to be nailed in the "classic threads".
kevin
How much for the little girl? How much for the women?
Someone spew the story on the schwarzes vierzehn for me?
$$$
M
Black 73 2.0 will be 4000$. The tub is 100% straight. Never wrecked. No dents in the floorpans or center tunnel. Solid rear trunk floor/solid front trunk floor. No wiring harness hacks. Center gauge console. 5 Fuchs alloys with new tires. Front and rear factory bars. Fresh top end rebuild on a GA 2.0. Stainless heat exchangers/Supersprint muffler. All new gaskets/seals/fuel lines/fuel filter/Pertronix/injector seals. Good strait chrome bumpers with good bumper tops. Fog lights.. that work. This car will make a good restoration candidate or a clean daily driver that someone can tinker with. I consider it cosmetically challenged.
It needs: Dash top/Rubber window seals/seats/carpet/windshield/chrome trim installed. All of which can be installed by us at a discounted rate on parts/labor.
Now the drawbacks.. its a repaint. The car was a silver/blue color and somebody did a decent black color change but did not shoot the jams and the trunks. the actual exterior paint is pretty decent. It needs to be buffed out. The car has never seen the street since the repaint.. so it has no door dings or major scratches.
Just a good solid true 1973 2.0
B
lol
It's exactly like my 74, Marathon under black.. is the paint falling off?
I like it.
M
The paint is pretty good. I personally want to take it back to blue.. but I dont have the time/money right now to do it.
I'm trying to generate some cash for a possible shop move.
B
Sure man, I wasn't poking at you for having a color change car. (although, at least the guy did everything but the floors of mine.. )
It's a great deal, I think.
Anything you touch probably has some greatness in it.
Hmm..
