914World.com _ 914World Garage _ Steering Wheel spacing...

Posted by: crash914 Dec 6 2006, 06:49 AM

ok, Have 3 spoke Momo wheel. It has a spacer/adaptor. I don't like the spacing, it is too close to the stalk.

I also think a quick release hub would be good for me...this is a full cage car with a race seat...mostly track, but street legal.

What does everyone use to adapt to the momo wheel and quick release?
I guess I could make my own spacer, but would rather buy one.

ideas? Pictures?

I just picked up one of these, much better than my old quick release, no slop at all.

Mine is a quarter inch aluminum plate. Simple to make.

Thanks,

what is the actual make of the QR?

I have the same one that Chappy posted

I don't think they fit a momo-style adapter though (they do fit a momo-style wheel)

Check with Paragon Products, IIRC, theirs does...
