looking for stock engine torque specs.
73, 1.7 US pistons, If I read it right pelican lists it at 87ft. lbs

DGVWPB, page 198, '73, 1.7L, US-Spec:
Power: 53kW @ 5000 rpm = 72 HP (DIN)
Torque: 122 Nm @ 2700 rpm = 89.982 ft. lbs (DIN)

73 1.7 "EA" was 80 hp , the "EB" was 72hp
