Where is that problem? I can't find it in a search...
M
sounds like a wire movement = short. is that AAR frayed wire all fixed?
bruce
AAR is out Bruce.
Found a couple things.
Battery ground strap, nut hanging on last 2 threads. Grounds were cleaned everywhere else a while back, still good. When I was messing with the TPS earlier (in the dark) I knocked the tach wire off the coil.
This leads me to where I think the problem was..
There are several wires that connect at the coil, all of them were shakey, re-crimped new connectors.
Found (what I think) is the connector to the CHT (hey! I am new) lil phenolic block? Discoed. reconnected, and taped it up.
Seems to be a runner.

the tach wire off the coil thingy did that to me too. Hard accel into a right corner & then nadda. Sure scares the carp outta ya when yer pullin out infront of a semi (insert smilie shit'n)
bruce
oh ya... and good sleuth'n
bruce
Also notice since I adjusted the TPS, that the 2700rpm boop is now a 2900rpm boop..
ALL YOUR TPS ARE BELONG TO US!
This kind of crap always happens to me on the weekend before a long trip..
heh

Damn Miles! I better look for something a little harder to detect next time I decide to F with your car while you're sleeping!
That's ok, I engineered the brakes on all the new Lotus US models!
M
You know Bruce... I cleared it up... but it still has that specific throttle-offish condition... the TPS sucks for sure.
New Thread!
