Hello...............'73 1.7 FI.................is the filter (fuel) & fuel pump located up front near the gas tank????????????...............simply a simple question.....but.........

'73 2.0L original location...would be same as your 1.7L (passenger side under battery area), if not moved to front.

Same as my '72 1.7
You gotta get UNDER the car to see this...it's not visible from the engine compartment

yep...just in front of the fuel pump. can't see in the picture, heater flapper box in the way.
