Nice Thomas. Love those gauges. They look great in that purple car too.
interesting oil lines....
any fear of work hardening and cracking?
Nice work !
I don't work for OSHA, but I have to ask... Do I see two large airfilters of some sort supporting the rear end of your car?
do you
I *LOVE* those gauges!!!!

Great job Thomas. Way to go to get to your goal. Shows more than one way to get it do.
Your copper should be good up to 350.
you da man dude...
That's awsome Thomas! Dan was saying that your copper oil lines will help do some extra cooling as well since copper conducts heat really well. Dan and I got my engine put in today... no time for pictures though. You put yours in yourself didn't you? You're an animal.
Nice work Thomas...
But, where's the turbo?
BJH
It should be noted that T H O M A S machined the venturies and rebuilt those carbs himself. (No joke this time).
Cheers, Elliot
What mod did the oil tank need?
NICE!!!! Those copper lines look as though they are held on very well. it will be many many years I suspect before any work hardening has any effect.

Thomas - are you going to have enough clearance when you run full left? Alot of cars will have tire rub on the fenderwell, will your hit the lines?
Looks really nice. Good work.
Beautious Thomas. Those early gauges rock.
Please go into detail on the lines, size and the fittings on the ends.
i have to run 1/2 inch spacers in the front for clearance, copper lines are 3/4 i.d and have 3/4 npt on the ends, you can buy 3/4 npt to -12 connectors, the rubber line is -12
Thomas is the copper M, L or K?
i have to check on the copper lines, they have some markings on them,no mod on the oil tank other then plug on inlet
and the pictures of the custom venturis

The offer still stands on a cup motor if you want another liter.
looks great thomas! love the dash and gauges.
I hope that's a freshened up 2.7 there T H O M A S ... The last 2.7 that came into the shop "recently rebuilt" had burnt exhaust valves. According to my notes, leakdown was ... 87% (1), 35% (2), 28% (3), 2% (4), 4% (5), 19% (6).
What're the specs on the 2.7? High compression? cams? give us the juicy details
I didn't see this thread before... those gauges are VERY nice... a sexy 356 look.
so those are modified 356 gauges?
I'd love to get those working in my car, I've always loved the 356 gauges....
Just cant run the cable for the mechanical tach
Those guages were out of a '67 Assdragger.
How about an update
