914World.com _ 914World Garage _ Metal hard top conversion

Does anybody have info about, or parts manufactured to convert a 914 to a "fixed" metal hardtop ? The roof panel would have the same curvature and rain gutter recesses as the fiberglass roof but would be permanently attached to the windshield header and the rear roof "basket handle"

Dr. 914 at Automobile Atlanta did or is doing that. I recall a picture thread with some progress shots. Not sure this is something he was going to manufacture and sell. Ask him directly or maybe he will see this and post...

And to think that is the only part on some 914s that are not rusted. laugh.gif And now people are replacing them with steel.
