914World.com _ 914World Garage _ I thought it didnt rain in California?

Posted by: ChrisReale914 Dec 1 2003, 08:44 PM

Finally...........got my internet. Didnt realize how much it sucks to be without it. The move down was hell, rained the whole way into California. But things have settled in nicely. One problem. I cannot get the password for my old account here. I do the password recovery deal, and I never get the email. What gives?
I am working at Tourneau in the San Francisco shopping center at Fifth an Market, so stop by and say hi if you are in the area. I want my old account! I feel like Alfred! headbang.gif

Try to fax me a sixer of Fat Tire!. There is a local brew called Anchor Steam that is great. It was the first beer I ever drank (dad gave me a sip when I was a wee lad)

Glad you made it clap56.gif

I worked right down there, too. Frank Moore shoes. Across the street from Timberland store. Turns out the building I worked in was the home of the biggest opium den in the late 1800's. Spooky laugh.gif

no rain in an SF winter? hah! be ready for lots of it. the nicest month of the year in SF is october.

Posted by: Howard R Dec 2 2003, 01:25 PM

Wasn't it Mark Twain who said "I have never experienced a winter so cold as a summer in San Francisco"

Posted by: fiid Dec 2 2003, 01:39 PM

Rain in SF means SNOW in Tahoe - whihc makes for excellent skiing.

Welcome to town Chris..... I'll probably swing by one day soon - if that's cool - I work at 5th and Mission - one block away.

Fiid.
