I need a front wheel bearing and seals for my 76 tomorrow, does anyone know of a place in Seattle or Bellevue I can get the parts. Daily driver need immediate parts.

Virtually any FLAPS. They are "very" common.

I don't know what flaps is, are you saying any Auto Parts store such as Nappa or Shucks ?

Been there, there is a FLAPS in Issaquah 2 miles from the stricken ride.

FYI,

VW bug front wheel bearings are the same as is the rear wheel bearings from a GTI ('84 or so)

Fixed this morning in the parking lot of an Albertsons, $13.00 in parts and lots of tools

How did you get the old races out ?

I used a long flat punch and tapped where there is a relief in the hub casting then I used a socket to set the new races.
