December 24th will be the 1 year anniversary of the 914world.com BBS.
Whoever guesses the closest to the total number of post at midnight (PST) Christmas Eve will be awarded one of these cool PORSCHE license plates.

Same goes for the entry deadline.
If your post says Dec. 11th - it's void.

Brad - I checked the member history. You signed up on the 23rd.
I consider that it did not become a real 'club' until you got another member.

the time is YOUR time, not server time.

you have a setting to adjust that.

Well, on average, doing the math, this board gets about 7600 posts a month, looking at what it is now and adding the remaining I will guess at 96,914. I will watch it a little closer and see where it goes and may change it before the 10th. But for right now, that is my guess.

well as to the math thing.

The post per months is not linear. its a curve. in the first month there was x posts by y users. in month 2 there was 2 x posts and 2y users etc. The bbs grows every month and generates exponentially more posts per month than it did the month before.

Lets see...about 320 post per day, about 3 times more post per weekend day or 960 posts per day , 6 weekend days and 15 week days left comes to about 10560 posts, added to present count of 92620 posts comes to, rounded to our common denominator....

The judges have asked for an appeal to the final ruling.

After further review of the instant replay a discrepency was found in the calibration of one of the official scoring clocks
(Damn. I knew I should have used Tag Heuer instead of Seiko)

The contest has been declared a tie.
Duplicate prizes will be awarded to both Andy and Karl.
