'72 1.7 new rebuilt injectors. Can't get them to fire. Funny thing is that they are both on the passenger side of engine. Bad grounds from the fuel injection harness? I think the trigger points in the distributor fire the injectors on the cylinders catacorner to each other don't they?
What to do? What to check?
Thanks,
Buck

Check your trigger points... sounds like a bad set.
IIRC TP's fire each side.
Also... check your harness connections and the TPS.

check the grounding block

injectors on one side out = bad grounds
injectors (1&4) or (2&3) out = bad trigger points

Pardon me, but you're WRONG. The trigger points fire 1/3 and 2/4, which are pairs of injectors on OPPOSITE sides of the engine. The TPS has no bearing on the question. The most likely culprit here is the ground connections under the intake plenum.
