Guy selling an engine has given me the following numbers and I can't find them in my book. Thanks in advance for the info!

#s from Block
1. 911/07
2. *610 9794*

# from Head
1. 911/04.306.OR

911/07 is 70/71 2.2T USA spec. 6109794 is serial number making it a 71 model. Head number is just a casting number.

Thanks for the help. The seller had started to take the engine apart and cannot get the last cyl. off. He says the pistons are domed. Would the T engine have domed pistons?

T pistons have very small valve pockets, E pistons have medium size valve pockets and the S ones go very deep in the piston dome. The dome gets larger with the compression ratio of the engine.
