My AMC bus heads arrived from Hoffman Machine today. They are excellent!!!!! They were converted to 914 2.0 Spec. The old LE 180 style before the new CNC heads.

Now comes the question part. I guess I forgot to ask for the vent tube modification. My question is DO I need vent tubes? I am going to building a 2056 with stock 2.0 FI.

I find them helpful. Need = no, want = yes. They'll keep your valve covers from leaking. Get a pipe thread tap and drill/tap the boss yourself. Not too hard.

im getting a set of 039's from jake, do these o.e.m. 2.0 heads have them?m can some one point out the drill tap location?
