You'd lose. Like most small fasteners on the engine, they're 6mm, usually slot head machine screws. The Cap'n

and to be more precise, 6mm x 1.0 pitch. 10mm or 12mm in length will work just fine. that type screw is all over the f'n car (heater tin, seat hinges, various pieces in the front trunk - the list goes on and on and on...)
