My dad and I did it for my fiberglass 916 bumpers, the linked thread is good to look at popcorn[1].gif . You have to remove the shocks , cut off the flanges (for the old rubber) , drill holes (for the new bolts) and then devise a spacer type deal for the new bumper .

Yup, it's that easy
