914World.com _ 914World Garage _ 2.0 Temperature Sensor

Posted by: Cjllong Jul 13 2007, 12:01 AM

I have 2.0 with the center console. The temperature guage on the center console is not hooked up. I'd like to make it work, but I don't know how and don't know where the temperature sensor is on the motor. Any suggestions? (This is the 2.0 with the modified L-Jet fuel injection. Nt sure if that has anything to do with it.)

You need the infamous "taco plate" mount. Replaces the blank plate mounted bottom of engine case, drivers' side forward.

They are still available new. The two pieces are over $120. I just happend to be checking today. There is a guy on Ebay Germany selling ones made from billet aluminum for the aftermarket.
