914World.com _ 914World Garage _ Paint touch up

Doing some chip and ding repair. My paint is single stage so it's not too technical to repair.
The question is: How to deal with the "shotgun blast" on the nose. Lots of micro dings. Use a toothpick and put a drop of paint on each one, then carefully wetsand with 1000 or 1500, and then buff out like usual? Or should I spray the whole section doing a blend-in?
What works best???

Microdrop on the toothpick is good, but you may not want to sand at all because it WILL show as a hazy area on the already cured paint. I've tried a fewe times to blend touch up, and only suceeded on a laquer finished early bmw in truely blending and leveling two paints, Just take a LONG time to fill each little hole. The paint should fill the hole up, and as it dries will shrink down and pull into the surface,. If it leaves a pit, do it again.
