You guys going up the red arrow highway in Michigan? Doesn't that go through New Buffalo? Is Redimaks still up there? I heard that a couple of B2s were sitting on the tarmak in Valpo. Any truth to that?
Later,
Buck

Yep going up the Red Arrow Highway to New Buffalo. Redimaks is still there, VERY VERY busy this time of year. The B2's were ther, but think they are gone now. Come on up Buck, Ft Wayne is just a few hours away.

if you are going we could meet up some where. Dave slap.gif

I plan on being there with the wife, unless the weather is bad, my targa seal leaks like I don't have it on. It makes for a very miserable drive in the rain. I'll look at the weather.

Supposed to be 88* and dry the last I heard.

Everyone becareful on your way here.

Some quick directions.

Exit #19 Portage / Port Of Indana off of I94. End of exit ramp head south (left from the East, Right from the West) which will be Rt249

1st stop light turn left (only a 1/8 mile from the 94 exit), this is Rt20 (Shell station on one corner, Mobile on the other)

Head East on Rt 20, go to first light (1 mile) turn Right on Sameulson road. There is a 'Zip' quick mart at that intersection.

Once on Sameulson Rd you will be going south to the 2nd stop sign which will be Central Ave. Please note you will go under a one lane railroad bridge BEFORE you get to the 2nd stop sign.

Turn left on Central Ave (you should see a green sign that says 914 <----)

Once on Central Ave our subdivison will be on your left about 1/8 mile or so. It is called Prairie Run, Turn left in to the subdivison and follow the road to you left we are the 5th house on your left. Address is 6852 Prairie Run Ave. There is a 914 sign at the entrance smile.gif

The 944 and 914 will be in the driveway. Please park in the driveway I am not worried about oil stains, I own a old Porsche biggrin.gif

If you hit the intersection of Central Ave and McCool Rd you have just drove past our subdivision. Turn Left on McCool and take you 1st left again and follow the road around you will find us.

Now if you are coming from the Indiana toll road, be warned traffic at the Portage exit SUCKS!!!! With that being said, exit the Portage Exit. At the end of the Exit turn left (South) on to Willowcreek Rd. You will go over the toll road to the first stop light which will be Central Ave (school on your right, Burger King on your left)

Turn left (East) on Central Ave. Once on Central Ave you will go through 3 stop lights then two stop signs. After the 2nd stop sign (intersection of Sameulson Rd & Central Ave) watch for the Prairie Run subdivison entrance on your left. Tuen in and we are the 5th house on the left. You will see my 944 & 914 in the drive.

Our Numbers - House 219-762-3179 My Mobile 219-730-6418. If you can't be here by 12:30pm then call me because we will be on our way to Quaker Steak & Lube and I can give you directions to get there. Don't panic, it is just a 1/2 mile off I 94 on the Portage exit.

Well it's been a week, 1st. Had horn problems driveing to do a PPI for a guy from Hamelton On. Temp fix a the time. Spent 2 days tracing wireing ,found fault
in steering column, thought i had it fixed..... Then started to install new dash panel and gauges got that done. Then installed new after market fog lights. Got that done. Man i am on the way to Garolds , with no problems, Right . WRONG wise and knowledgeable ones!!!!!
Yesterday about 1/4 the way home ( from a friends) who was helping, the God D234567890=';./XX HORN STARTS TO BLOW again. Just need a 13mm socket to fix, don't have it ,( of course) out in the country,no tools. So i said let the darn thing blow it, 's guts out. I drove it 30 miles with it blowing it's head off. i got home disconetced the wires at the horn. I still have a short in the steering column
i guess!
So after that , You ask am I ready for some relaxing 914 conversation at Garold's. My ans. is , ( is a 500 lbs. canary big) You darn right I am. See you all there. Dave ( the nerveless) slap.gif ar15.gif

We had a fantastic day filled with 914 fun. We got wet most of the way home with a light rain until we got about 30minutes from home. Then just an amazing downpour hit. We had to pull over and wait it out. It ended after about 20 minutes and we were back on our way. Home safe and sound now!

It was great to see 914 friends again, and to meet many new ones!
