914World.com _ 914World Garage _ Brake question

Changing the rear pads and when I took off the cap from the inner adjuster I got a little trickle of fluid. There are rubber seals down there right? Should that not keep the fluid back? Time for a rebuild?

No, there should not be fluid coming out of there, yes, it is time for a rebuild. Nothing is more important than your brakes, never scrimp there.

Thnks Scott. That's what I thought. Just wanted to make sure before I got all carried away.

I have a set that we rebuilt on the old car - I'll just mount those up for now.

That is correct, there should be no brake fluid back there.
If you need a full rebuild on a set, I can help.
