Hi Guys,
FORD is celebrating the 75th anniversary of the Deuce & V/8 FORD's at their headquarters. I love these cars with my deep roots in Street Rod Fords during my teen years. I sure wish I kept my 39 conv. Cpe.
Hope you guys enjoy the photo's. I know Bxstr. will. I'll post a few pics. & if you guys want more let me know. Ok, here's a small sample of what's in Dearborn. I know we must have a few lover's of these cars in 914-World?? Some are restored & some rusty original.
Tom
BTW: Next week is the Woodward Dream Cruise weekend. I'll be there taking lots of pictures. Automotive overload in MI.

Not many engines dress up better than a flattie. Love that engine turned firewall. Got any pics of Mercs?
BTW, my '47 Lincoln coupe still has its original flathead V-12...fun to drive, fun to look at.
I love early '30s Fords....more pics please......but you can leave out the SBCs.
Yes, more pics please.
I really like a tricked out early Ford....
One of these years I'm going to make the Woodward Dream Cruise .... We have a local DJ, Mason-Dixon, that belongs to a group of local Florida Corvette owners. They have their cars shipped, via car carrier, to the Dream Cruise every year....
Have a great time and take a LOT of pics...
BTW, more pictures are always welcomed....

Love Red with Ardun motors. For some who don't know this is a flathead with aftermarket Ardun heads. Very, very rare.

Looking forward to more pics, and pics of next weekend.
I can't believe I lived in MI for 24 years and never made it to dream cruise

Love those 40's. Here is something a little newer.
Vendor on site that makes new "steel" kit car's. I understand the flathead motor in the car is a repo aluminum flathead core motor block.

And for those that don't know, ARDUN was for (Zora) Arkus-Duntov, performance father of the Corvette.

Thomas, That was so friggin awesome, I want more. I want a picture of every car their.
I signed up for the event, even though I knew I would not get their, just so I could have the goodies.
I thought the LA roadster show was great, this looks as good or better.
Thank you
Craig
Amazing. Simply friggin amazing. I forgot how much I loved the 40 Ford. I've been a Ford guy since day one, my first car was a 55, which I wish I still had. As far as I'm concerned, you can post every one of the pics you took.
I think the blue car at the bottom of page 2 may be French. I saw something similar to it at all Ford day in Denver last summer and it had a flathead V8 in it too.
This is really the last one.
See you guys next. week.

That must be why there are French flatheads circulating. I read that they found a bunch of crated French flatheads in Europe?? and they were for sale.
That channeled coupe is very familiar, I saw it somewhere a few years ago.
I love all of the coupes, and any loboy 32. Mullins trailer. There is a company here that makes them in fiberglass.
To,to much.
Thank you
Craig
Thomas Check the first pic you posted, looks like a chevy to me?
Craig
Boxter;
At first i thought it looked a little wierd, but i think it,s a Ford, with that layed back windshield, body looks Ford xso does the frame. But whats with that steering box inside the car. Man to long ago to have any relieable recall of it.
I just rechecked it, yah it's a Ford, nice pic. of a red one on page 2,same winshield. Also other pic. of it here looks like Ford. But i am trying to remember over 50+ yrs ago. OH MY GOD.ARGGGGGGGGGGGGG
Tom: That young kid next to that coupe insn't really you!! Holy smoke , were
we ever THAT young looking. Also get down in that position now, and we all would need help to get up! If you ever get all in a folder send it to me. Dave
Wow, thanks for the great pics. You got me thinking streetrods again! Time to pull my '37 plymouth tudor out and go for a spin!
Thank you for the pictures Tom, I love any and all old Fords (especially the highboy rods and the '40 'verts). If you happen to stumble across any more pictures please post them Jim
Thank you, Tom. Great pics. Lots of lore, legend and history in those cars. I appreciate you posting all those photos.
Paul
Tom You are absolutely 100% correct. Notice the staggered carb manifold. That is one old looking barn find 32 roadster.
CCL
