John asked me to post these photos for him. Mostly original paint. I'll have it on the LE Registry real soon. Enjoy.

Gorgeous car but what's the deal with the license plate? It's got Lucas electrics?

Posted by: Jeff Bowlsby Aug 23 2007, 08:33 PM

I think it was found in the classifieds here...the previous owner never responded to my email inquiry or it might have been mine...oh wait...my wife would not appreciate 3 LEs in the household...drooley.gif

Thanks Jeff for posting the pic's for me.
And a very special thanks to Dave Rogers for practicaly giveing us the 914.
Dave is really wonderful guy, even more so than his porsches.
This was a joint venture between me and my brother William.
We put the title in his name.
It was a blast driveing it back from Atlanta, every thing was tight just like it was a new 914.
Thanks for looking, John

I asked Jeff a while back if any Bumblebees' ever came w/ any other color interior- Jeff replied that there are a couple of them w/ black cloth interiors, otherwise they're all black leatherette.

Black interior, Virginia summers & no factory air conditioning... now I know why my Dad picked the Creamsicle.

thumb3d.gif Super sweet car- keep her shaded, always.
