Last time I cut w/ it hangin, still connected 
This time, they hurried and cut cause it was around his neck... No harm done Phew! I was just triming it back.

The only thing that grosed me out was when the doctor held up the placenta in the air and said "hey, look at this, it looks nice and healthy"
I could post a pic of that, but won't for your sakes

Wasn't bad. The cord is pretty weird looking and feeling, tho. Reminds me of a dish called Tripe', ever heard of it?

Long as you didn't make placenta pie to eat for dinner, I am fine with cutting the cord and all that.

After I cut my twin sons loose (what seems like a thousand years ago), what tripped me out the most was looking at the placenta in a dish and seeing two cords coming out of a central spot. Talk about Divine fuel system routing!
