I was changing to longer studs and adding wheel spacers and noticed something to be careful of. This is 911 aluminum hubs

The new (Porsche OEM) studs have a slightly larger head and will not sit down on the surface properly without a spot face. If you look at the picture, you can see the lip from the old studs. The surface should be flat all the way across with no lip.

I don't remember seeing that a few years back when I put longer
studs in my orig 914-6 hubs, but I plan on checking. Are the 911
hubs the same?
