Hey,

So with the ride height set at an acceptable level, the spings are at rest and the shock is at nowhere near full extension. This mean that if I get air, the spring will be free to float around between the perch and the top cap.

Is this okay? Normal? If thw spring supposed to be wired to the top?? There are a couple of holes in the the spring cap that look like they might be for wiring.

Thanks in advance,

Fiid.

Yeap, you can wire it to the hat, or get helper springs which will keep the spring in position at full droop.

its easier to wire the springs to the hats

Cable tie?
Coat hanger?

a couple cable ties should work, you won't have to think about it again.

Glad I saw this thread. I forgot to tie the springs down.

Let's see... forgot that I drained the tranny. Forgot to tie down the springs.

"Hey Honey... Where'd I put that 914?" "It's still in the garage Dear..." "Ohh... yeah... Thanks!"
