914World.com _ 914World Garage _ Injectors- Where to buy or repair?

Posted by: slim72914 Oct 9 2007, 09:19 PM

I finally started my 914 last weekend that hasnt run since '86 and 2 of the injectors are leaking from the side where the aluminum body meets the plastic.
Can these be repaired? if so where?

Do I need to change all 4 or can I just do the leaking ones. they all seem to spray fine. I pulsed them and watched the spray off the car they all looked good.

Somebody buy these airbags so I can do these repairs to the 914!!

Replace!

The last thing you want to attempt is driving with gas vapors in the engine bay.

The injector bodies are steel, not aluminum, and leaks such as yours have cannot be repaired. The Cap'n

If it's a 1.7, I have some good used injectors.
