for a cool event. Bob Snodgrass and I grew up in Elmira NY.
I spent 8 years in Ithaca, NY. Watched my first road races at the Glen in '82. It was 1982 & was the Camel GT race series. I also played lots of golf in the Elmira area. Elmira CC, IBM GC, Enjoie, as well as a public GC on top of a big hill...& ice hockey against the Binghampton Wailers. Good memories...
On another note...I'll be at the swap. Look for me in in the '58 356 or the '58 VW single cab.

Cool single cab Mark!!!!
Thanks Byron.
Its rusty, but gets me around & is great for hauling things.
50mph with a full bed or 50mph empty all day long.
I'll be swapping out of it tomorrow. Mostly early 356 stuff & some early 911/912 parts. Probably nothing anyone going to this will want.
See ya in morning.
Mark

Met Troy and BVD there:
This year was a buyers market. Many sellers/few buyers. Several good deals to be had for the early porsche enthusiast.
