914World.com _ 914World Garage _ Throttle body question

Hello all,

I'm working on getting my fuel injection put back together and can't figure out the throttle linkage.

After some searching, I came up with this picture of what I think the stock setup for a '72 1.7 looks like...

This is a picture of the intake plenum and throttle body I just purchased via ebay. There are two differences from the plenum appearing in the picture. First there is no provision for a cable mount, and second even if there was one there the throttle can't be opened from that angle. I assumed that since it had yellow injectors it was for a 1.7 but now I'm beginning to wonder. Does anyone know if the linkages varied over time?

What do y'all think,
Brian
