Hello all,
I'm working on getting my fuel injection put back together and can't figure out the throttle linkage.
After some searching, I came up with this picture of what I think the stock setup for a '72 1.7 looks like...
This is a picture of the intake plenum and throttle body I just purchased via ebay. There are two differences from the plenum appearing in the picture. First there is no provision for a cable mount, and second even if there was one there the throttle can't be opened from that angle. I assumed that since it had yellow injectors it was for a 1.7 but now I'm beginning to wonder. Does anyone know if the linkages varied over time?
What do y'all think,
Brian
Not on our cars, but VW had D-Jet on Type 3's and Buses besides Type-4's. Thats probably from a Van.
That's what I was afraid of, thanks much for the reply.
D jet never appeared on Busses. That appears, however, to be a T4 manifold, and may work on a 914 engine. The Cap'n
